MONDAYS:

Breakfast for Dinner (Tiny Chefs) $259

Turn your favorite breakfast dishes into the main event as dinner options. How about a cheddar-chive frittata with fresh salsa? Or Brunch pasta with bacon and eggs? Maybe you’d prefer a more traditional French toast, dressed up with bananas and blueberries? Any way you slice it your little chef will love tucking into these comforting breakfast classics.


STEM Challenge with Lego Materials (Play-Well TEKnologies) $189

Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer designed projects such as: Catapults, Pneumatic Cranes, Arch Bridges, and Battletracks! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. There are no prerequisites for this course.


Ultimate Frisbee (Overtime Athletics MD) $123

Competitive and playful, challenging, and sometimes ridiculous. There is no sport that compares to the unique dynamics of Ultimate Frisbee. The rules of Ultimate are simple, and can be compared to a cross between soccer and basketball.


TUESDAYS:

Little Veterinarian School (Little Medical School of Maryland) $208

Little Veterinarian School® encourages elementary school children to role play and explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. Little Veterinarian School® brings medicine, science and the importance of health to children in an entertaining and engaging way. From after-school programs to birthday parties and camps, children have fun and learn at the same time. Classes are designed and developed by a team of board-certified and trained veterinarians.


Strategic Gaming (Cranium Clubs) $115

If your child is looking for more and more games, then look no further than our Strategic Gaming class! Each week, our instructors will introduce a new, age appropriate board game. The group will learn the rules, strategize, and then get down to business playing each other. The course will feature some of the classics, such as Monopoly and Sorry, and introduce new fan favorites, such as HedBanz and What Are The Odds?


WEDNESDAYS:

Debate Club (Spark Business) $261

Students learn the art of persuasion and help select debate topics they find appealing. Students work in rotating groups and practice their debating skills in a supportive environment, including developing arguments, issuing rebuttals, providing examples, rebuilding their case and summarizing points of view. Students learn to think on their feet and enhance their public-speaking skills, gaining self-confidence in the process. Note: This club is structured as 3 independent and different modules to be offered year-round (preferred) or individually in the fall, winter or spring.


Drawing (Young Rembrandts-Maryland) $163

Young Rembrandts teaches drawing, the fundamental skill of all visual arts to children aged 3 to 12. Our unique, proven method and step-by-step curriculum foster a wealth of skills such as fine motor skills, handwriting readiness and attention to detail. Children taught using our method develop increased patience, discipline and focus as well as a host of artistic skills such as art vocabulary and history, drawing and art skills, and expanded creativity, imagination and confidence.


Yoga for Kids (Shining Kids Yoga) $202

Yoga is an ancient healing practice known to calm the body, mind, and emotions. In this playful yoga class designed especially for elementary-aged children, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross & fine motor skills, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, noncompetitive class. Each class ends with a period of relaxation and aromatherapy. Children should bring their own yoga mat to class.
